A place for kids and adults to play together in Highland, made possible through grants and donations.
Thank you to the Community for help with the Chill at the Mill Kick Off
Highland is well on its way to having a special place for everyone to play, learn and enjoy. We would like to thank the following businesses for contributing to these events, the first step in making Chill at the Mill a reality:
Ace Party Store, Beuachamp Water, the Chill at the Mill Committee, Colasanti’s, Fragments, Heavner Canoe Rental, Highland Downtown Development Authority, Highland Fire Department, Highland Haven, Highland House, Highland Supply, Highland Township Library, Hoffman Farms, Highland White Lake Business Association, In Flight Band, Jeni’s Ugly Pies, Norms Ice Cream, Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, Peter’s True Value, and the Red Poppy.
In addition to the outstanding community support, numerous donations were received, which gives us a wonderful start to our project! We’re especially grateful for the generous donations pledged by Scott & Anne Hoensheid and Mike & Maureen LaFontaine. All of this wonderful support means that we’ll be able to start construction soon!
