Community Development Block Grants

Each year, Highland Township shares in CDBG funds, aimed at projects to benefit low- and moderate-income residents of our community. These funds help defray costs of senior nutrition programs, services for abused spouses and children, low-income home and safety improvements and the Ride with Pride program which provides employment transportation for disabled adults. There are also programs administered at the County level which our low-income residents have access to, such as the Home Improvement program. The Supervisor's Office administers our participation in the CDBG program. If you have questions about these programs, or how to access other services to assist low-income or disabled residents, contact us. We can help you contact a private or public agency that may be able to help.
